Official Information Act request to the Minister responsible for the Flag Consideration Panel
Many supporters of the Black & Silver flag design raised concerns about how the Black & Silver flag could have been overlooked by the Flag Consideration Panel. In response to these concerns, I have asked the Minister responsible for the Flag Consideration Panel, Hon Bill English, for official information relating to what information the decisions of the Flag Consideration Panel were based.
The legislative deadline for a response is Wednesday 9 September 2015. I do hope that I receive this information first.
